AAK BuildHub is a co-working space with shared offices on the 3rd floor of One Stop Plaza, Lang'ata Road, Nairobi, next to the Shell petrol station: a place for professionals in the built environment to work, meet and collaborate.
Online, the BuildHub portal at buildhub.aak.or.ke sets out how to obtain a building permit or planning approval in Kenya, county by county: the step-by-step procedures, how long approval takes and the fees charged.
AAK launched the BuildHub as its first information portal in 2019, as a one-stop shop for the development control process across Kenya's counties. Counties are added as their data comes in.
