Je Una Mjengo Public Campaign
AAK launched a public awareness campaign dubbed ‘Je, una mjengo?’ in the year 2017. The necessity of the campaign emanated from the fact that the general public needed information regarding the processes and best practice in the industry. It had been clear that members of the public, who make up owners of buildings in the country, were not clear on the correct processes to follow to get building approvals or even the roles that the different professionals undertake in the processes and the industry as whole.
The main aim of this campaign therefore was to create public awareness on the building and construction processes and best practices to avert collapse of buildings within the country. The campaign targets the general public with an aim of achieving public education amongst the masses.
